AXA Hong Kong launches wellness platform

It offers a diabetes management programme and a steps tracker.

AXA Hong Kong has launched AXA BetterME, a wellness platform with a suite of programmes and services covering physical wellness, mental wellbeing and chronic disease management, according to a press release.

AXA BetterMe offers close to 20 physical and mental health services. These includes AXA Goal, which tracks the number of steps achieved each day and through which participants can earn up to 20% premium rebate in their next policy year by achieving pre-set goals; and Symptom Checker, a health encyclopedia where people can access health information and check their symptoms against possible illnesses.

The insurer has also partnered with Asian Diabetes Foundation and GemVCare to access a personalised 1-year programme to help manage diabetes. The programme includes a registered nurse that will follow up on programme participants and monitor their progress throughout the year.

AXA BetterMe services can be accessed through the Emma by AXA app.

At the same time, AXA announced that it has appointed singer and actress Sammi Cheng as its brand ambassador.
