AIA Singapore ties up with digital healthcare firm WhiteCoat to offer telehealth services
They will also co-create a digital integrated platform for telemedicine claims processing.
AIA Singapore has appointed digital healthcare firm WhiteCoat as its exclusive telehealth provider in a partnership that will see the startup providing telemedicine services to the insurer's 1.2 million corporate and dependent base.
Through its mobile app, WhiteCoat will offer access to Singapore-registered general practitioners (GPs) via video call. Doctors can then provide diagnosis, treatment, medical referrals, and delivery of medication for timely delivery of healthcare services to on-the-go clients.
AIA and WhiteCoat will also co-create what they claim to be the first digitally integrated platform that facilitates the claim processing for telemedicine services.
"We know what it’s like to fall sick, and the last thing that you want to do is to queue for hours at a clinic. WhiteCoat puts a doctor at your fingertips instantly in the form of a video call, then delivers the medication you need straight to you," Bryan Koh, CEO and founder of WhiteCoat said in a statement.
