Allianz Malaysia pilots lifestyle protection plan

It is available in five diferrent plans for as low as $20 per year.

Allianz Malaysia has rolled out a new all-in-one protection plan for customers’ everyday risks, according to an announcement.

Allianz Lifestyle Protect is offered to all Malaysians aged 16 to 65 years old and is available in five different plans, from as low as $20 (RM85) per year. Existing Allianz Shield Plus customers can also purchase Allianz Lifestyle Protect from only $18 (RM76) per year.

Benefits include a lump sum payment for a snatch theft or an attempted snatch theft incident, smart device protection, and loss of sports equipment. It also offers an online purchase protection, credit card and loan indemnity, and rehabilitation reimbursement in the event of an accident.

For students, the plan grants reimbursement of one semester’s fees should the policyholder be hospitalised or upon the death of a financial sponsor. Moreover, the plan will cover transportation costs if the policyholder needs to return to Malaysia to visit an immediate family member who is hospitalised or has passed away due to an accident.
