Generali Indonesia partners with Munich Re to boost underwriting processes

The latter's cloud-based platform will also help streamline risk assessment.

Indonesian life insurer Generali Indonesia has selected Dublin-based insurtech Munich Re Automation Solutions’ cloud-based platform to streamline its processes and deliver risk management solutions to the country, according to an announcement.

Generali will leverage Allfinanz Spark to understand their own business performance and improve how risk assessment questions are presented. The insurer will utilise analytics to automate the underwriting of routine cases that would otherwise take up valuable time.

Allfinanz Spark was selected due to its flexible integration which enables Generali to enhance existing processes with little to no new business disruption, resulting in higher productivity and reduced turnaround times.
