Hong Kong insurtech StartupCare floats protection for Lalamove drivers

Drivers can avail of a $6,500 lump sum cash benefit.

Hong Kong insurtech StartupCare and Lalamove will be launching a three-month free medical protection to partner drivers, according to a news release.

Underwritten by Generali Hong Kong, partner drivers will also enjoy a lump sum cash benefit of $6,500 (HK$50,000) relating to COVID-19 and up to $130 (HK$1,000) daily cash benefit in the event of hospitalisation due to accidents.
