ZA Tech, PFI Mega Life to drive digitisation of Indonesian insurers

The two firms will cocreate products and digital solution.

ZA Tech has partnered with Prudential Financial’s PFI Mega Life to drive digital transformation of Indonesia’s insurance industry, a statement read.

ZA Tech will leverage its business knowledge and its proprietary core insurance system Graphene to help PFI Mega Life create a seamless digital experience for its customers and ecosystem partners.

Additionally, the two firms will cocreate insurance products and digital solutions that are designed to protect and fulfill the needs of Indonesian audience. Launched in early March, Community Cover/Sobat Proteksi (Mega Proteksi Penyakit Kritis), the first product cocreated by PFI Mega Life and ZA Tech, provides an affordable and essential critical illness plan that is readily accessible through Grab for Indonesians.

This product, which features an innovative premium structure, allows customers to pay a competitive premium of $1.40 (IDR 20,000) per month to be part of the programme. With the discount mechanism, customers are rewarded with monthly discounts depending on the number of participants in the programme and the number of paid-out claims in the prior month.
