AIA Singapore unveils AIA Centurion PA, covers neurological diseases
AIA Personal Accident Insurance Survey revealed that dementia is a top concern among Singaporeans.
AIA Singapore is set to launch AIA Centurion PA, a comprehensive personal accident insurance plan, on 10 August.
The plan aims to cater to the needs of Singapore's rapidly ageing population and is part of AIA Health360, a suite of wellness solutions.
AIA Centurion PA is the first personal accident plan in Singapore to cover neurological diseases like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's, offering reimbursement for day or home care services through an optional rider.
The plan provides coverage up to age 100 and has a high entry age limit of 80 years.
An AIA Personal Accident Insurance Survey revealed that dementia is a top concern among Singaporeans, but many lack policies covering neurological diseases.
In response to this demand, the AIA Centurion PA plan offers an optional rider that provides lump-sum payouts for early, intermediate, and late-stage Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diagnoses, along with dementia care reimbursement benefits.

The plan aims to support Singapore's "sandwiched" generations, who face the pressures of caring for both ageing parents and their own children.
The Centurion PA plan can be integrated into an AIA Vitality membership, which allows individuals to access basic health screening with WhiteCoat at no fee during the first year.
In addition to the neurological disease coverage, AIA Centurion PA provides benefits for accidental death, dismemberment, burns, fractures, loss of activities of daily living, daily accidental hospital income, post-hospitalization home care, mobility aids, and home modification.
