Allianz General Berhad distributes surplus funds to charities

This product is based on universal values and aligned with Islamic Financial Principles.

Allianz General Berhad said that it distributed surplus funds from the "PerlindunganKu Allianz4All" Claims Allocation Fund (CAF) to seven charitable organizations. 

This product, based on universal values and aligned with Islamic Financial Principles, allows policyholders to choose a charitable category to benefit from any surplus generated by the CAF. 

In the 2022 fiscal year, a total distributable surplus of RM65,534.51 ($14,058.68) was generated from the CAF, demonstrating market confidence in the Allianz4All product series. 

The surplus was allocated to Education (25.26%), People with Disabilities (38.28%), and Relief Efforts (36.46%).

Allianz Malaysia's corporate responsibility arm, Allianz4Good, was responsible for identifying and distributing the surplus to selected charities. 

The identified organizations include "Buku Jalanan Chow Kit," "Persatuan Pendidikan Anak Cahaya, Selangor," "Federal Territory Association for the Mentally Handicapped," "Rumah Amal Cheshire Selangor," "Persatuan Mobiliti Selangor dan Kuala Lumpur," "MyKasih Foundation," and "MERCY Malaysia."
