Allianz Trade APAC appoints new HK commercial director

Tricia Koh will oversee commercial activities in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and South Korea.

Allianz Trade in Asia Pacific has appointed Tricia Koh as Commercial Director for Hong Kong, Taiwan, and South Korea (Hong Kong Hub), effective from 1 November. 

She will be based in Hong Kong, replacing Hassan Omaish, who has assumed the role of Global Head of Brokers and Partnerships stationed in Paris.

Koh originally joined Allianz Group in 2007 through a graduate program.

Between 2009 and 2014, she worked in Market Management at Allianz Commercial (formerly Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty). In 2017, she re-joined Allianz Group as Regional Marketing Director at Allianz Trade in Asia Pacific, where she led a team across the region in developing and implementing various sales and marketing strategies across multiple distribution channels.

Koh holds a master's degree in International Taxation Law and a bachelor's degree in commerce from the University of Sydney. She also holds a second master's degree in Insurance and Risk Management from Deakin University.
