AllianzGI gets new CIO for fixed income
Michael Krautzberger will succeed Franck Dixmier.
Allianz Global Investors (AllianzGI) has named Michael Krautzberger as its new Global CIO Fixed Income.
Beginning in August 2024, he will succeed Franck Dixmier, who is leaving after nearly 30 years with the firm.
Krautzberger joins from BlackRock, where he spent 19 years, most recently as Head of EMEA Fundamental Fixed Income.
He previously served as Chief Investment Officer and a board member at BlackRock Asset Management Deutschland AG.
Before his time at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (merged with BlackRock in 2006), he was Head of European Fixed Income at Union Investment and worked at DWS for five years.
Franck Dixmier has been with AllianzGI and its predecessors since 1996, becoming the first Global Head of Fixed Income in 2015 and Global CIO of Fixed Income in 2020.
He created a global investment committee and a unified process for the asset class.
