Aon revenue jumps 7% YoY in 2023

Net income for the year fell to $2.6b.

Aon reported a 7% increase in total revenue to $13.4 billion, driven by 7% organic revenue growth. Net income attributable to shareholders decreased to $2.6b, with adjusted net income per share increasing 6% to $14.1 on a diluted basis.

Aon repurchased approximately 8.4 million class A ordinary shares during 2023, amounting to approximately $2.7b. As of 31 December 2023, the company had approximately $3.3b remaining under its share repurchase program.

Aon reported a 7% increase in cash flows from operations for the full year 2023, totalling $3.4b, driven by strong operating income growth and working capital optimization. 

Free cash flow increased 5% to $3.2b in 2023, with ongoing investments in technology platforms and technology for long-term growth.
