Aon’s CFO Davies to retire in 2025

She joined the company in 2007.

Aon announced today that Christa Davies, its executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO), will retire in 2025 after more than 16 years with the company.

Davies will continue as CFO until the third quarter, certifying second quarter results, and then transition to a senior advisor role to assist with the transition. 

Aon has initiated its succession planning process to find the next CFO.

The board of directors approved a two-year extension of CEO Greg Case's employment agreement to 1 April 2028.

Davies, who joined Aon in 2007 and became CFO in 2008, expressed gratitude for the opportunity and confidence in the firm's future success. She will support a smooth transition of Aon.
