AXA Asia FY2020 gross revenue jumps 11% to $13.3b

Underlying earnings in the region inched up 4%.

AXA reported an 11% jump in gross revenue in its Asian operations to $13.3b (EUR10.95b), a statement read.

Underlying earnings in the region inched up 4% to $1.5b (EUR1.2b).

Overall Asian property and casualty lines went unchanged at $2.62b (EUR2.16b) whilst the health segment gained 9% in gross revenue to $2.9b (EUR2.4b). The life and savings segment also went unchanged at $6.4b (EUR7.8b).

P&C underlying earnings skyrocketed 76% to $119b (EUR98b). Health underlying earnings inched up 6% to $508b (EUR418b), whilst life and savings underlying earnings dropped 3% to $891b (EUR733b).
