AXA, HSBC unveil insurance for Hong Kong residents studying overseas

For as low as HK$4,000, students can enjoy up to HK$2.5m coverage.

AXA Hong Kong and HSBC have launched the Overseas StudySurance, an insurance plan for overseas students.

With an annual premium of as low as HK$4,000, students can enjoy medical expense coverage of up to HK$2.5m, personal accident protection of up to HK$1.2m, emergency family reunion benefit of up to HK$100,000 for two parents or legal guardians, and an education fund of up to HK$300,000.

Students who are Hong Kong residents and aged between 10 and 40 can be covered.

Until 31 October, customers availing of the new insurance product via the HSBC website or an HSBC branch will be entitled to a 10% discount in perpetual, as well as an HK$200 YATA gift certificate for each policy.
