China’s medical insurance funds reach $368b YTD: Report

Meanwhile, expenditures reached $320m.

In the ten months to October, China's basic medical insurance funds, inclusive of maternity insurance, generated approximately Y2.62t ($368.2b), as reported by the Xinhua news agency.

Retrieving data from the National Healthcare Security Administration, urban employee funds, including maternity insurance, accounted for Y1.85t ($260b), while rural and non-working urban residents' funds reached around Y768.36b ($108.65b).

During the same period, expenditures for these funds amounted to Y2.25t ($320m).
