Chubb elevates Kate Burke in APAC personal lines

Burke has over 17 years of industry experience and has a background in travel insurance.

Chubb has promoted Kate Burke to Head of International Personal Lines (IPL), Asia Pacific (APAC), effective 1 May.

In her new role, Burke will oversee the strategic growth of Chubb's auto, residential, specialty, and high-net-worth lines of business across the region. 

She will be based in Singapore and report directly to Ben Howell, Head of Consumer for Asia Pacific, with a matrix reporting line to John Thompson, Division President for International Personal Lines.

With over 17 years of industry experience, Burke has a background in travel insurance, having worked across claims, customer service, and business development for ten years before joining Chubb in 2017 as Regional Portfolio manager for travel, apAC. 

She has held various leadership positions within Chubb, including head of Travel and Division head of IPL. 

In her most recent role as head of Residential, Personal Risk Solutions, and Specialty Personal Lines, APAC, Burke played a role in driving strategic business growth and forging partnerships across the region.
