Future Generali India welcomes new chief risk officer

He brings over two decades of experience.

Future Generali India Life Insurance appointed Sunil Kapoor as chief risk officer (CRO) beginning 29 July.

Kapoor will lead the risk and information security function, focusing on strengthening the company's risk management framework.

Kapoor brings over 20 years of experience in risk management, with previous roles at SBI Capital Markets, HDFC Life Insurance, HDFC Pension Fund Management, IDFC Bank, and CCIL. 

He holds credentials as a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA), Associate Company Secretary (ACS), Financial Risk Manager (FRM) from GARP, USA, and a Diploma in Information Systems Audit (DISA).

Kapoor will report to Alok Rungta, managing director & CEO of Future Generali India Life Insurance.
