Generali Asia grows net results by 2.3% in 2022

The insurer said it achieved its best operating result last year.

Generali Asia achieved its ‘best-ever’ operating results in 2022, recording growth in both net results and gross written premiums.

Based on its financial report, Generali Asia’s net results rose 2.3% YoY to €2.9b, whilst its gross written premiums increased by 1.5% to €81.5b.

The insurer attributed the growth in its gross written premiums to the positive performance of the company’s property and casualty (P&C) segment, led by the non-motor line.

The gross written premiums of its P&C segment increased by 9.8% to €28.64b ($30.37b) from €24.15b ($25.6b)
