Generali GC&C boosts Asia team

The insurer has appointed two new heads.

Generali Global Corporate & Commercial (GC&C) has made two strategic appointments in Asia to strengthen its leadership team. 

Danny La has been named Head of Strategic Initiatives & Business Transformation Asia, effective from 1 August, while Matthew Day has taken up the role of Head of Risk Engineering & Loss Prevention Asia, effective from 15 August.

These appointments are part of GC&C's efforts to expand its reach and enhance its capabilities in Asia, with a focus on delivering tailored solutions and risk advisory services to clients in the region. 

La joined Generali from Swiss Re, where he worked on data-driven solutions for insurance clients, and Day previously served as Head of Zurich Resilience Solutions, Asia, with over 14 years of experience in claims and risk engineering functions.
