HKIA and HKPF inks MOU on a joint framework for legal services

The agreement will ensure the insurance market’s reliability and security.

The Insurance Authority (IA) and the Hong Kong Police Force (HKPF) inked a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to establish a collaborative framework for case referrals, joint investigations, mutual investigative assistance, and the exchange of information.

This agreement will ensure that the insurance market remains reliable and secure and continue to contribute to Hong Kong’s position as an international financial centre.

The MOU was signed by Maria Tsui, Head of Enforcement of the IA and Yau Kin-hung, Chief Superintendent of the Police Commercial Crime Bureau.
