Pets are insured in QBE’s new home insurance for Macau residents

The plan extends to home contents and the personal effects of domestic helpers.

QBE has launched the Home Plus Protection Package (HPPP) in Macau, a comprehensive digital home insurance solution for tenants, homeowners, and landlords.

The plan addresses a range of consumer needs and risks, including unique pet coverage. This provides for temporary boarding costs in case the residence becomes uninhabitable, and covers pets against accidental death or theft.

On top of that is comprehensive protection against major risks like burglary, fire, typhoon, and personal liabilities, as well as everyday issues like spoiled frozen food, and keys and lock replacement.

The coverage extends to home contents and the personal effects of domestic helpers. Additional coverage for temporary accommodation in case of an accident is also included.
