Pru Life UK launches fund with access to global tech giants
The fund will allow investors to participate in dollar-denominated equity assets.
Pru Life UK has introduced the PRULink Global Tech Navigator Fund, a new peso-denominated investment product that offers customers access to the ATRAM Global Technology Feeder Fund.
The ATRAM fund, which invests in Fidelity International’s Global Technology Fund, is one of the largest technology funds globally, with $23.9b in assets as of July 2024, the company said in a press release.
ATRAM, a leading asset and wealth management firm in the Philippines with $6.40b (P360b) in assets under management as of June 2024, manages the feeder fund.
The PRULink Global Tech Navigator Fund enables investors to gain exposure to tech companies such as Alphabet, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Samsung, and Taiwan Semiconductor, which are driving innovation and shaping industries worldwide.
Additionally, the fund will allow investors to participate in dollar-denominated equity assets using Philippine Pesos. It also offers the potential for additional returns from favourable exchange rate movements, though it carries the risk of losses depending on peso-dollar fluctuations.
