Prudential Hong Kong to give away insurance plans to boost COVID vaccine

Hong Kong citizens who have received at least one vaccine dose can join.

Prudential Hong Kong and Prudential General Insurance are launching a new incentive programme to give away 10-year insurance plans with protection coverage of over $16.8m (HK$130m) per year to help raise the COVID-19 vaccination rate in the city.

Hong Kong citizens who have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine can enter the draw via Prudential’s health and wellness app Pulse. 

Ten winners will receive a 10-year complimentary coverage for PRUHealth VHIS VIP plan, which offers the insured an annual cover of $1.5m (HK$12m) annually plus access to other value-added services. 

Ten winners will each receive one complimentary 10-year individual cover of PRUChoice Travel Insurance. This plan offers medical expenses and personal accident protection of up to $155,000 (HK$1.2m) per trip for an unlimited number of trips throughout a policy year.
