Singlife becomes co-seed investor of BlackRock’s ETF

The Climate Action ETF is valued at US$426m.

Singlife has announced its role as a co-seed investor in BlackRock's iShares MSCI Asia ex-Japan Climate Action Exchange Traded Fund (ETF), which has listed on the Singapore Exchange (SGX).

This ETF, valued at US$426m, marks the largest equity ETF launch in Singapore to date. It is issued by BlackRock iShares and provides investors with access to leading companies in the Asia Pacific (APAC) that are actively addressing climate change.

The newly listed ETF is expected to witness significant demand, driven by strong investor interest, particularly in the region, which is the largest and fastest-growing area for energy transition investment.
