Singlife reveals new Cancer Cover Plus with $1.5m coverage

It is a unique supplementary product to Medisave-approved plans.

Singlife has launched a cancer coverage plan.

The Cancer Cover Plus is an as-charged coverage for claims for a wide range of cancer treatments and services, other than the Ministry of Health (MOH) of Singapore’s cancer drug list.

It will also include treatments needed to be taken abroad.

Beginning 1 April, the MOH has limited how Medisave-approved insurance plans, which cover cancer treatment, can be utilised.

“Singlife Cancer Cover Plus enables policyholders to claim for treatments and drugs not covered under these changes and offers high annual coverage of up to S$1.5 million,” Singlife said.

In an earlier announcement, Singlife partnered with Icon Cancer Centre, Singapore’s first fully integrated cancer care provider. With the collaboration, Cancer Cover Plus policyholders will also be able to access affordable and personalised cancer treatments.
