Swiss Re Group CIO steps down after 25 years

His retirement will be effective on 31 March 2023.

Swiss Re Group Chief Investment Officer and Switzerland Country President Guido Fürer will be retiring on 31 March 2023.

Fürer will take the time to spend it more with his family and dedicate himself to pro bono activities on various foundation boards.

Swiss Re said that after the actual transition takes place, Fürer will continue to serve out his term to ensure a smooth transition.

A replacement has not yet been announced.
