Zurich expands APAC commercial division with two new heads

Both heads will be based in Singapore.

Zurich Insurance announced new leadership appointments for its Asia Pacific (APAC) Commercial Insurance division.

Robin Cooper-Driver has been named head of Financial Lines and Edward Rayfield has been appointed as head of Casualty. Both executives will be based in Singapore.

Cooper-Driver and Rayfield will oversee the performance and expansion of Zurich’s Financial Lines and Casualty portfolios in the region.

They will collaborate with local teams to enhance underwriting capabilities and align with the company’s strategic goals.

Cooper-Driver, who has been with Zurich for 13 years, previously served as head of Long Tail Lines Australia and New Zealand and head of Financial Lines APAC.

Rayfield, joining from AIG, brings over 14 years of experience in the London, Australia, and Asia casualty markets.

Both executives will report directly to Burrell.
