Zurich Insurance and Klook collaborate for solution to flight delays

The FlyEasy benefit offers lounge access to those with flight disruptions.

Zurich Insurance has partnered with travel platform, Klook, to introduce loung access for delayed flights.

Through FlyEasy, the service aims to enhance customer experience by providing immediate support during travel disruptions, departing from traditional insurance practices.

Powered by Zurich Edge's digital insurance processes and capabilities, FlyEasy aims to deliver hassle-free coverage whilst meeting the evolving demands of modern travellers, the insurer said in a press release.

Singapore residents with eligible policies under Klook Protect can register their flight details on Zurich Insurance's dedicated FlyEasy platform at least 24 hours before departure.

Upon confirmation of a flight delay, customers will automatically receive a notification email and SMS containing a lounge access code. If no lounge is available at the current location, the access code remains valid for six months for use at any other airport lounge.
