AXA Singapore names new Managing Director for Retail and Health

Julien Callard has undertaken various roles in AXA Group since 2000.

AXA Insurance Singapore has appointed Julien Callard to take on the new role of Managing Director, Retail and Health, according to a press release.

Callard will be responsible for driving the growth of AXA’s retail and health business as well as the respective distribution functions.

He is also a member of the executive committee, reporting to AXA Singapore CEO Jean Drouffe.

Callard joined the Singapore branch as Managing Director, Retail last November 2019.

Julien has undertaken leadership roles across AXA Group, first joining the company in 2000. He has held senior positions across multiple countries spanning actuarial, risk, marketing, and reinsurance. Prior to joining AXA Singapore, he was Head of Retail Property and Casualty at AXA Mexico.
