Budget Direct entices AXA Singapore’s employees and customers with ad

The move comes as reports say AXA Singapore is leaving the general insurance business.

After just a day of reports saying AXA Singapore is leaving the motor and commercial insurance business, insurance firm Budget Direct Insurance boldly placed an ad to entice AXA employees and customers to their fold.

“Dear employees and customers of AXA Insurance Pte Ltd (AXA Singapore), we are thinking of you. For employees at AXA Singapore, we welcome you to consider joining us,” the printed in the Strait Times read. The ad also encourages customers of AXA Singapore to get a quote with them.

Recent reports circulating are stating that AXA Singapore is preparing to exit the motor and commercial insurance business after it has been acquired recently by HSBC.

Budget Direct is a digital insurance company specialising in car, motorcycle and travel insurance.
