Tom Baker and Jan Pagan
Tom Baker is Markel International’s head of sustainable energy, running a global portfolio of onshore wind, offshore wind, solar and battery storage projects. He has been based in Singapore for the past 5 years and has been involved in some of the largest wind energy projects across the APAC region in that time.
Jan Pagan is Markel International’s risk engineer for renewable energy projects, having previously worked as an offshore wind mechanical engineer for a large European developer. Jan has also worked adjusting losses for renewable energy projects and uses that experience to help clients mitigate losses on their projects.
Violet Chung, Dino Ho, Brandon Ho, Marcus Roth
Violet Chung is a partner in McKinsey’s Hong Kong office, where Dino Ho is a senior expert. Brandon Ho is based in Singapore at QuantumBlack, a McKinsey company. Marcus Roth is a partner in the Tokyo office.
William KN Chan
William KN Chan is the chief investment officer for HSBC Insurance Hong Kong. William has over two-and-a-half decades of experience in the investment and asset management industry.
Prior to joining HSBC Insurance, he was Head of FX, Global Fixed Income at UBS Asset Management in the UK, and has previously held a number of positions across the HSBC Asset Management business.
William attended the University of Hong Kong and has an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics & Political Science. He holds both CFA and FRM designations, and has published articles on portfolio strategy in the Pensions & Investments and MTA Journals.
