Neeraj Kaushik, Principal Consultant, is a Product Manager for the Infosys® McCamish NGIN platform initiative at Infosys McCamish Systems, US. He is a published author and Top Voice on LinkedIn in 5 areas-Insurtech, Business Analysis, Product Management, Artificial Intelligence and Data Architecture.
Neeraj is an innovative and effective thought leader recognized for achieving exceptional results in highly competitive environments requiring continuous improvement and has driven the business of large-scale technology projects based out of the US, UK, India, and China Geography for the last 18+ years. He has an excellent insurance business domain, architecture, design, and implementation skills in various life insurance administration as well as producer management & compensation systems.
Prior to this, Neeraj was part of Big 4 Consulting firms like PwC & Deloitte where he led digital transformation programs and strategic consulting initiatives across the Life, Annuities, and Property & Casualty Insurance space.
He holds a master’s degree in insurance & risk management from Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) and the designations of ALMI (LOMA), Fellow of Risk Management Association of India (RMAI) and President Select Member (Leadership Excellence at Harvard Square).
Nick Davies and Crystal D’Souza
Nick Davies joined Markel in April 2018 bringing over 20 years’ experience in the Financial Service sector, 18 years in Trade Credit with particular emphasis on credit analysis, technical underwriting, and commercial relationship development. He has enjoyed a multi levelled career in both Trade Credit Insurance and Re-insurance with a robust background in financial analysis, commercial engagement, business planning and implementation of business strategy. He currently holds the role of Head of Trade Credit Asia based out of Singapore.
Crystal D’Souza is a Senior Underwriter and the Head of Trade Credit for the MENA region. In her role, she oversees the trade credit business for Markel in this region. With over a decade of experience in risk and commercial underwriting across the financial services and healthcare sectors, Crystal brings a wealth of expertise to her position. She holds an MBA in Business Strategy, is a Certified International Credit Professional (CICP) from the Finance, Credit & International Business Association (FCIB), and a Certified Credit Risk Specialist from the London School of Business and Finance, London. Before joining Markel, Crystal worked at Novartis Pharmaceuticals in Dubai and J.P. Morgan in Mumbai, India.
Pankaj Thareja
Pankaj Thareja is a Senior Cyber Consultant for FM Global's APAC Division, with his work based in Singapore. As part of the Cyber Hazards team, Pankaj draws on his extensive experience in Cyber Security, along with FM Global's scientific research and loss prevention engineering, to create products and services that help clients evaluate cyber risk effectively and build cyber resilience. Additionally, Pankaj advises organizations on how to enhance their cyber security posture, security design, and controls to protect their critical equipment and information assets and prevent losses. Furthermore, Pankaj holds the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) credential, which is widely acknowledged as the top cybersecurity certification in the industry worldwide.
Patrick Bühler
Patrick Bühler is the Group CEO and Founder at discovermarket. In his role as CEO, Patrick drives the digital transformation of the insurance industry, adapting insurance propositions to new customers and technology needs.
Patrick has close to three decades of experience in the insurance industry and has a deep understanding of insurance products and pricing models. He is committed to innovating insurance products, pricing, and distribution to make insurance seamless, accessible, and trusted.
Before founding discovermarket in 2021, he was the Associate Partner of Synpulse, a valued consultancy partner of the world’s largest financial services providers.
He was also a proud team member of the first telematic insurance product launched in Switzerland and part of the team founding iptiQ P&C EMEA by Swiss Re. Patrick’s experiences also include stints at Baloise Insurance, Allianz Suisse Versicherungs, and InvestSuisse AG.
Patrick holds an MBA in Insurance Management from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland. Outside of work, Patrick enjoys boxing, playing the piano, and spending time with his family.
Paul Tse
Paul Tse is the Chief Marketing and Digital Officer of FWD Hong Kong & Macau, overseeing the company’s marketing, branding and corporate communications, customer data analytics, direct and telemarketing, as well as partnership distribution. Paul also has another crucial role in leading the company’s digital transformation, direct-to-customer (DTC) digital sales distribution, and acceleration of digital touchpoints for more real-time customer engagement.
Paul has near 30 years of experience in marketing, sales and business strategy across various industries and multinational companies such as airlines, financial institutions, and retail and luxury brands. He has a wealth of experience in integrated and multi-channel marketing programmes on branding, customer relationship management, loyalty programmes, digital marketing and e-commerce.
Paul holds an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) degree and a Bachelor of Social Science degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Paul has a passion for soccer and brewing great coffee outside of work!
Peter Miller
Peter Miller is a seasoned business leader and entrepreneur with a proven track record of leading start-ups and established enterprises through outstanding partnership building and project execution on a global scale.
He has over 25 years of expertise in financial services, including that of Group CEO of Tune Insurance, which was listed on the KLSE; as CEO of Tune Money, which launched AirAsia Big; as Head of Insurance for CIMB Group; and as Head of Bancassurance for AIA China, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
Peter has spent much of his professional life in Asia, where he has led various prominent and successful financial services initiatives in Asia Pacific, the United States, MENA, and Eastern Europe. Peter obtained a mathematics degree from Leicester University in England.

Raymond Ong

A qualified actuary, he started his career with the Monetary Authority of Singapore and holds a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Mathematics and Statistics (1st Class Honours) from the Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, UK.
Raymond has participated in several workgroups at the industry level, including being a member of the Risk Management Working Group of the Institute of Banking and Finance, supporting the MAS-LIA Insurance Culture and Conduct Committee, and being on the Green Finance Working Group of the MAS Financial Centre Advisory Panel.
